Pre-Submission Consultation (Regulation 14)

After several years of evidence gathering, public events and consultation, the Parish Council ran a formal public consultation on the Pre-Submission Version of the Hurst Green Parish Neighbourhood Plan between 9am on Wednesday 27 July and 5pm on Saturday 17 September 2022.

17th December 2018 – Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Opinion

Rother District Council provided a formal SEA Screening Opinion for the Hurst Green Neighbourhood Plan.

8th June 2017 – Designation of Hurst Green Parish as a Neighbourhood Area (Regulation 7)

Rother District Council confirmed that the marked area shown on the submitted map (being that of Hurst Green Parish) was formally designated as a Neighbourhood Area.

10th April 2017 – Application for the designation of Hurst Green Parish as a Neighbourhood Area (Regulation 5)

Hurst Green Parish Council (as the relevant body) submitted to Rother District Council an application for the designation of Hurst Green Parish as a Neighbourhood Area, along with the following documents:

  • Hurst Green Designated Neighbourhood Area map (pdf)
     
  • A statement explaining why the area is considered appropriate to be designated as a Neighbourhood Plan Area
     
  • A statement setting out why Hurst Green Parish Council is a relevant body for the purposes of section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
